We've Come a Long Way From The Isle of Rum
Ruminder was first conceived on the island of Rum off the west coast of Scotland. The islanders seem to have a great ability to remember in great detail. This the phrase "they do not remember they Rumember" was formed. From this a whiskey fueled conversation helped create the Ruminder idea. Why could we not help people remember all important dates for their loved ones. Everything now is so fast paced that birthdays and events just creep up on you leaving you with little to no time to really put the effort in to get your loved one something that will really appreciated and made them realize just how appreciated they are to you. What if you had a dedicated team behind you sourcing and ordering you gifts, vacations or bookings? How much easier would life be and how much more appreciated would your loved ones feel? It is not even the big things but the little things, like remembering the date of your first date, what your partners favorite restaurant is or even just having the ability to suggest gifts for the mother in law or your children rather than your partner having to come up with everything. We started out as a service for local people which grew into a website and now an App. We now have the ability to help spread love of giving throughout the United Kingdom and will soon be going international.
